Transit Agencies Meet to Discuss Accessibility

There will be two meetings held on Thursday for the public to provide input concerning setting priorities when it comes to improving accessible transportation for people with disabilities, the elderly, veterans, low income and rural residents as well as the youth.

The Cowlitz-Wahkiakum Council of Governments (CWCOG), Twin Transit and the Lewis County East-West Information Shuttle Mountain Highway Transit will be hosting the meetings.

The first will take place at 2 p.m. Aug.11 at Centralia College, located on 600 Centralia College Blvd.



The second will occur at 5 p.m. Aug.11 at the Lewis County Public Services Building, located at 2025 Northeast Kresky Ave.

All citizens are invited to provide input, and special accommodations can be made by calling the CWCOG at 360-577-3041 and asking for the Americans With Disabilities Act coordinator.
