Pe Ell continued to roll on Tuesday, as the Trojans downed Oakville-North River 25-13, 25-16, 25-16 for their fourth win in a row.
“We’re picking up momentum when it counts,” Pe Ell coach Jill Engel said. “The girls have learned a whole lot this season and are just really finding their stride these last couple weeks.”
Brookelynn King tallied 10 assists, five aces, and a kill in the win, and Brynnlee Hoffman added five assists, two kills, and two aces.
Madi Engel finished with eight digs, seven kills, and two assists, and Karli Phelps logged five digs, four kills, three aces, and two assists. Peyton Zock had an outstanding night at the net, as she had six blocks and three kills.
With just two league games to play, the Trojans are two back of unbeaten Columbia Adventist and one up on Wahkiakum.
The Trojans will have the chance to hand the Kodiaks their first league loss at home on Thursday.
“We’re looking ahead to our next contest where we have the home court opportunity to strengthen our second place standing,” Engel said.
