Troopers indentify Ocean Beach Highway crash victim

Washington State Patrol has released the name of the driver killed in Friday's two-vehicle crash on Ocean Beach Highway.

Vincent D. Vey, 48, of Cathlamet, died at the scene after the Chrysler 300 he was operating veered into the oncoming lane, striking a Jeep Wrangler head-on as he traveled westbound on State Route Four, also known as Ocean Beach Highway.



The crash occurred just after 5 p.m., on Sept. 27, near milepost 54, east of the Coal Creek Boat Launch. The crash remains under investigation, the revised press memo states.

Rebecca R. Osmailowski, 39, of Longview, was the driver of the Jeep Wrangler. Troopers report she was sent to PeaceHealth St. John Medical Center after suffering injuries.
