Two men accused of breaking into a detached garage on a Centralia property on Wednesday are now facing theft and burglary charges in Lewis County Superior Court.

The two co-defendants, Tyler M. Lindstrom, 38, and Jacob S. Lindstrom, 40, both of Centralia, were arrested and booked into the Lewis County Jail just after 5:20 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 8 after law enforcement connected them to a burglary that occurred in Centralia on Monday, Feb. 6.

The homeowner had reported seeing two men exiting her detached garage and took a photo of them and their vehicle as they were leaving, according to court documents. At the time they were seen leaving, neither of the two men had any property in their hands, according to court documents.

However, the homeowner reportedly identified several items that were missing from her property and found “items that were staged to allow them to be taken at a later time,” according to court documents.

Some of the stolen items were later found at a pawn shop in Centralia, while others were found up for sale on the app “Offer Up.”

The two Lindstroms have each been charged with second-degree burglary and second-degree theft.

Jacob Lindstrom was additionally charged with second-degree trafficking in stolen property

Taking into consideration their differing charges and criminal histories, a judge set Jacob Lindstrom’s bail at $50,000 and Tyler Lindstrom’s bail at $25,000 on Thursday, Feb. 9.

Their arraignment hearings are scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 16.
