A Vader woman was hospitalized with injuries after a boat fell off of a trailer and struck her vehicle in Wahkiakum County on Friday.

Her vehicle was one of three involved in the collision that blocked both lanes of state Route 4 near Oneida shortly after 3 p.m.

A 16-year-old Roseburg resident was reportedly leaving a southbound driveway in a gray 2012 Kia Forte and attempted to turn left onto eastbound Route 4 at milepost 13, allegedly failing to yield right of way to a red 2018 Ford F150 that was traveling eastbound, according to the Washington State Patrol.  The Ford, which was towing a boat on a trailer, struck the side of the Kia and rolled onto the westbound shoulder. When the Ford rolled, the boat came off the trailer and struck a white 2011 Dodge Ram, driven by a 69-year-old Vader woman, that was traveling westbound.

The Vader woman and a 14-year-old passenger in the Forte were transported to Columbia Memorial Hospital with injuries. No other injuries were reported.
