Posted

The Chehalis-Centralia Railroad invites people to enjoy a two-hour round trip excursion in a vintage 1920s dining car through the Chehalis River Valley.

A multi-course dinner will be served during the ride.

The meal will be prepared by Joy from Once Upon a Thyme while passengers take a round trip to Ruth — a former railstop near Boistfort/Curtis — just nine miles west of Chehalis.

These excursions are set for Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 10 and Feb. 11.

Trains depart at 5 p.m. from the depot, 1101 SW Sylvenus St., Chehalis, with return expected at 7 p.m.

The full experience is $79 per person

There is free parking. ADA accessible parking and an accessible ramp to the loading platform is offered.

The Depot is located at 1101 SW Sylvenus Street, Chehalis, WA.

Reservations must be made six days before the departure date. Seating choices and tickets must be reserved online. Tables seat four, so parties of two may sit with other guests.

This ride is limited to 52 persons per ride and tends to sell out, according to a news release from the Centralia-Chehalis Railroad.
