Black Hills, the 2A Evergreen Conference leader, had little trouble disposing of visiting Rochester Thursday, defeating the Warriors (25-9, 25-18, 25-7, 25-9) in a doubleheader.

“Black Hills is a legit team,” Rochester coach Bridget Morris said. “They definitely kill the ball and put us on defense. But we hung with them.”

Roisin Stull led the Warriors with three kills, two blocks and three aces. Senior Lauren Rotter added a team-high 13 digs, Lakota Escott added three kills and Hannah Rodeheaver was praised for her all-around hustle and performance.

Rochester gets back into action when it hosts W.F. West on Monday, then travels to W.F. West on Tuesday. Black Hills (11-2, 8-0 league) hosts Shelton on Tuesday.
