Well-Rounded Scoring Helps Trojans to Dominant Win Over Eagles

With four players in double figures, the Pe Ell boys basketball team jumped out to a big lead early and never looked back in a 62-20 win over Three Rivers Christian Tuesday night in Longview.

“We were able to jump out to an early lead due to our defensive pressure,” Trojans coach Chris Phelps said. “Our guys did a great job in transition. I am very pleased with our balanced scoring attack. We are looking forward to Willapa Valley on our home court this Friday.”

Logan Baldwin (12 points), Kail Homan (12 points), Carter Phelps (10 points), and Blake Howard (11 points) all scored in double-digits, helping the Trojans to a 23-4 first quarter lead and a dominant win.

Pe Ell takes on rival Willapa Valley this Friday in a doubleheader after the girls game in Pe Ell.
