People who use State Route 6 in Chehalis should plan ahead for single-lane closures and additional travel time, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT).
On Tuesday, Nov. 14, WSDOT maintenance crews will close a single lane along both directions of the state Route 6 at Riverside Bridge near milepost 51, crossing over the Chehalis River. During the closure, crews will complete annual work to flush the bridge with water to remove dirt and debris to prevent deterioration.
What to expect
To keep both travelers and maintenance crew safe, travelers are asked to slow down, pay attention and use caution through the work zone.
