Geoffrey Glass rushed for nearly 150 yards, Wyatt Nef added three scores, Justin Filla scored two and the Toledo Riverhawks decimated Stevenson, 47-12, on the road to remain undefeated on the season Thursday night.

“We were able to do what we wanted on offense,” Toledo coach Mike Christensen said.

The Riverhawks (3-0) rushed for 357 total yards, and led 47-0 before Stevenson even got on the board in the fourth quarter in another dominant effort.

Nef got the scoring going, breaking through Toledo’s first two scores with 2-yard and 53-yard touchdown runs. Then Filla erupted from eight yards out to give the Riverhawks a 20-0 lead after one quarter.

Glass then got in on the scoring action, breaking through a 32-yard touchdown run to extend Toledo’s lead to four scores early in the second.

Junior Zane Ranney was the fourth Riverhawk to score a touchdown, when he scored from 17 yards out to give the road team a 34-0 halftime lead. Nef scored his third touchdown in the beginning of the third from 5 yards out and Filla put the finishing touches on the scoreboard with a 27-yard burst to close out Toledo’s scoring for the night.

Glass finished with 17 carries and 145 rushing yards with a touchdown, Nef went for 78 yards and three touchdowns, Ramey went for 62 and a score, and Filla got nine carries for 52 yards and two scores.
