Bearcats come in second at Ragnarok

The W.F. West boys wrestling team went up to Pierce County for Curtis High School’s Ragnarok, and came back south with second place out of 12 schools on the mat.

Grayson Serl won the 144-pound division for the Bearcats, while Beau Guyette took first at 150 — beating teammate Josafat Acuna in the finals — Andrew Snyder won at 157, and Tucker Land placed first at 175.



Besides Acuna, Kage Homan placed second at 165, while Mason McGregor (106), Race Scalici (132) and Angelo Peters (215) took third in their respective divisions.

The Bearcats will get back to EvCo action with the Swamp Cup dual at Centralia on Wednesday.
