The W.F. West boys basketball team won its first non-league game in four tries this winter Thursday, beating Capital at home 66-58.
Parker Eiswald led the Bearcats (4-3, 3-0 2A EvCo) with 21 points, and also had five rebounds and four assists. Tyler Klatush added a 16-point, 10-rebound double-double, and also dished out seven assists.
Braden Jones pitched in 10 points, and Grady Westlund had nine rebounds.
W.F. West will head east to Yakima after Christmas for the SunDome Shootout, facing Ellensburg next Thursday and Prosser next Friday.
