The Chehalis-Centralia Railroad and Museum’s (CCRM) annual Pumpkin Trains will run this year on Saturday, Oct. 19, and Sunday, Oct. 20.

Trains depart from the depot at 11:30 a.m., 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. both days.

Children and adults are encouraged to wear costumes and “help create a fun-filled Halloween atmosphere,” CCRM said in a news release.

All excursions are approximately 30 minutes long. Goody bags of treats and pumpkins, provided by Huntting’s Pumpkin Patch, are ready for children under age 15.

Kids will be released into the railyard by age group after each train ride to choose their pumpkins.

The cost is $18 per person for the ride, pumpkin and goody bag. Children 2 and under ride for free. Seating is first come first served.

Food trucks and coffee stands will be available on site.

Information and tickets for all events are available online at https://steamtrainride.com/

The CCRM depot is located at 1101 SW Sylvenus St. in Chehalis.
