In loving memory of Barbara Ann Jordan: 1954-2023

Barbara Ann Jordan, 69, of Chehalis, Washington, peacefully departed from this earth to meet her savior Jesus Christ on Oct. 30, 2023. 

Born June 17, 1954, at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, U.S. Navy Base, Barbara Ann's life was a testament to humility, gratitude and a profound respect for creation. 

Married July 28, 1972, at Virginia Beach Community Chapel, Virginia Beach, Virginia, they enjoyed traveling to numerous destinations, including Niagara Falls, Mount Rushmore and Montego Bay, Jamaica, among many others. 

Barbara Ann leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion. 

She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Keith Jordan; her cherished sons, Brian and Kevin Jordan; her daughter-in-law, Rebecca Johnston; her brother, Gregory Lazos; her sister-in-law, Lynn Lazos; her brother, Thales (Barry) Lazos; and her precious grandchildren, Faith Smith (Jordan), Mackinzie Jordan and Kaleb Jordan. 

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Paul Lazos and Christine Lazos, who now dwell in eternal peace. 

Barbara Ann attended First Colonial High School in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Throughout her career, she found joy and fulfillment as a secretary and pharmacy technician, using her skills to serve and uplift others. 

Guided by her unwavering faith, Barbara Ann found solace and spiritual nourishment at Faith Baptist Church in Chehalis, Washington, where she fellowshipped with other believers in Jesus Christ, her savior. 

In her free time, Barbara Ann found solace in tending to her beloved rose garden, an expression of her reverence for the beauty of creation. Embarking on shopping excursions brought her joy and relaxation. Engaging in Bible study allowed her to cultivate a sense of gratitude for life's blessings, both big and small. 

The funeral arrangements are being handled by Sticklin Funeral Home, located in Centralia, Washington. 

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Nov. 17, 2023, at Faith Baptist Church in Chehalis, where family, friends and community members will gather to honor and celebrate Barbara Ann's life. 

Barbara Ann Jordan's departure from this earthly plane leaves an immeasurable void in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Her gentle spirit, rooted in humility and reverence, will forever be remembered and cherished as a guiding light, illuminating the path of love and compassion for generations to come. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to Faith Baptist Church at: 436 Coal Creek Road, Chehalis, or online at fbc-wa.org/give/. In the note/memo area, indicate donation is “missions.” One-hundred percent of all proceeds will go directly to missionaries.
