Richard Hatfield, son of Jimmie and Marie Hatfield, has two sisters, Susan Sargent and Kaye Wood. He married Lyla Myhre, of Winlock, on March 19, 1971. They had two sons, James Martin Hatfield (May 25, 1972 - May 1, 2021) and Brian Dean Hatfield (born in 1974). James had a son, Richie Hatfield, with his wife, Tina Shock Hatfield, and a stepdaughter, Kailee Schultz Lauderdale, with his wife Rachel Edwards Hatfield. Brian married Gemma Hatfield and they have two children: Alexander and Kallie Ann. They live in Florida.
Dick worked for the state of Washington for 30 years and retired in Spokane at age 55 as the regional administrator for the Department of Vocational Rehabilitation.
We will truly miss this wonderful husband, father, grandfather and friend.
