Beverly Jean Auman, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend, passed away peacefully on July 30, 2023, in Olympia, Washington, with her family by her side.
She was born on March 7, 1935, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Floyd and Pearl Bransted. On May 12, 1956, she married Neal Auman, the love of her life. They enjoyed 59 years together. She retired from Meredith's Hallmark in Chehalis, Washington. Her happiest times were spending time with family, playing bingo and playing the machines at the casino.
She is survived by her sister, Shirley Scott, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; her children, Laurie (Rory) Johnson, Roger Auman, Vicky (Ray) Schliesser, Sherri (Mark) Hanshaw, Tom (Kari) Auman, and Robert Auman; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Russ and Floyd (Red); sister, Doris; husband, Neal; grandson, Chris Armitage; and great-granddaughter, Gracie Armitage.
There will be a celebration of life and potluck at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 26, at the St. Joseph School auditorium in Chehalis. Bring your favorite memories of Bev and come help us celebrate her life.
