In loving memory of Clariece Knoll: 1961-2023

Posted

Clariece Jean Owen Knoll passed away very unexpectedly on Dec. 20, 2022. She was born Sept. 19, 1961, to Lawery and Judith Owen in Roseau, Minnesota. They preceded her in death. Clariece was such a selfless and caring person. No matter what she was going through, she always wanted to help others instead of herself. She always had a smile on her face and nothing could take away her positivity or her faith in God. Growing up, Clariece enjoyed spending time with family and her best friend, Laurie, and when she had her kids she spent all her time being a stay-at-home mom and helping them in any way she could. Clariece was known as mom to lots of kids, including her other daughter, Kara Nachatilo, of Chehalis, Washington, who she also considered her own. Clariece's hobbies include watching her two grandchildren, Sydney and Scott Burdick, of Napavine, Washington, grow up and go to as many sporting events as she could to support them. She enjoyed playing BINGO. She loved horses as she had one growing up and loved riding Jeanie whenever she could. Clariece also enjoyed spending time with her TOPS girls as she was their weight recorder. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Christopher Knoll; her two children, Samantha (Sean) Burdick, of Napavine, Washington, and Christopher LE Knoll, of Vader, Washington. She is also survived by her oldest sister, Dana, and Larry Knoll, of Whitefish, Montana; and Becky Owen, of Barstow, California.

Clariece will forever be missed but never forgotten. She is survived by lots of nieces and nephews from Montana and family here also in Washington state. She was preceded in death by her sister, Lori Owen.

We will be having a celebration of life for her at noon July 29, 2023, at the Forest Grange at 3397 Jackson Highway, Chehalis, Washington, at noon. It's a potluck, so feel free to bring a dish and share some memories of Clariece with friends and family.
