Debra Kay Ward (née Hawley), also known as Deb or Debbie, passed away of a heart attack on June 17, 2024, in Vancouver, Washington, at the age of 46.
She is survived by her mother, Terry Doster, and stepfather, John Doster, of Kingman, Ariizona; grandfather Dale Hunter, of Lewistown, Montana; father, Joseph Robert Hans; stepmother, Debra Hans; and Aunt Joanie Hans Snedeker, of California; brother, Jerry Turner; sister-in-law, Heidi; niece, Taylor; nephews Antonio, Justin and Damon, of Spokane, Washington; fiancé Aaron Turner, of Vancouver, Washington; and last but not least, her three amazing, talented and free-spirited children, David Hanson, Jordan Plaza and Maddie Ward, who will carry on her love for music, baking and traveling.
She is preceded in death by her aunt Laura Marie Hans; uncle James Richard Hans Ill; uncle Scott Alan Hans; aunt Joyce Ann Smith; grandmother Joyce Hans; grandfather James Richard Hans II; grandmother Lea Hunter, of Lewistown, Montana; grandfather Ray Lagge, of Thompson Falls, Montana); and her sweet nephew Laurence.
Debra’s cremation has been carried out and a memorial for those who wish to participate will be decided at a later date.
