Ed Wickert, 81, Winlock, passed on Jan. 20.
Born to Emery and Hazel Wickert, Ed graduated 1960. Ed ran The Roxy Theater, worked on a tugboat in Hawaii, and had a lifelong career in wood products, retiring from Shakertown as millwright supervisor.
Ed loved raising Dobermans, photography, Winlock history, charter boat fishing, hunting, the Liars Club and coffee with friends.
Ed leaves wife of 60 years, Sue; son Don (Sue); daughters Barb, Cathy and Cindy (Don) Miller; brother John (Sue); sister-in-law Debbie; five grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
His celebration of life is Sunday, Feb. 25, at 1 p.m. at Olequa Senior Center, potluck following
