In loving memory of Franklin Lowell Clymens

Posted

Frank Clymens was born Jan. 2, 1934, in Aurelia, Iowa. He married Deanna Biberdorf in 1957 (deceased in 2013) and was married for 56 years. They moved to Washington state in 1967 to a 37-acre farm and raised their five children: Bryan Clymens of Colorado Springs, Colorado; Sandra Decker of Rochester, Washington; Jeff (Tricia) Clymens of Wenatchee, Washington.; Nanette (Preston) Hornby of Oakville, Washington.; and Randy (Jeanie Appleby) of Lacey, Washington. He also left behind six grandchildren: Ashley, Jeanie, Courtney, Collin, Cody and Justyn, and six great-grandchildren: Cole, Freya, Harlyn, Hayes, Aspen and Lennox.

Frank owned his own business from 1970 until 2000, "Clymens Refrigeration," and catered to dairy farms and restaurants in Lewis and Grays Harbor counties. After retiring, he and Deanna traveled the U.S. and Alaska and went on several trips to the Bahamas and Caribbean. During their travels they had the privilege to meet other retired couples. They made lifetime friendships that kept them busy during the years.

Any donations may be made to "Seattle Children's Hospital" in lieu of flowers.

A private memorial will be held in July to spread the ashes of Frank and Deanna together, per their wishes.
