In loving memory of Lester Watts: 1943-2024

Posted

Lester Wayne Watts went home to meet Jesus at the age of 80. Lester passed away at Centralia Providence Hospital on May 13, surrounded by family.

He enjoyed reading the Bible, spending time with family, gardening, working on vehicles, woodworking, playing guitar and other instruments, and fishing. Rain or shine, he was always at his grandchildren's sporting events. Lester had the best sense of humor, and he will be missed so dearly.

Lester was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Sandra Lee, and has left a legacy through five children and their spouses: Shelly and Martin Cozart, Steven and Renae Watts, Leslie and Chris Hinderman, Daniel Watts, and Kenneth Watts; eight grandchildren and their spouses: Brittni, Marty and Amanda, Cortnie, Morgan, Shelby and Ben, Nathan, Kassandra, and Lily; and four great-grandchildren: Ellie, Lincoln, Connor and Oswin; five sisters: Charolette, Mary, Bonnie, Janet and Denna; and two brothers: Robert and Roy.

"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day..." 2nd Timothy 4:7-8.

A graveside service will be held at the Napavine Cemetery on Friday, June 7 at 2:00 p.m., 800 E Grand Blvd, Napavine, WA. A memorial dinner will be held afterwards at Winlock Assembly of God, 702 SE 1st St., Winlock, WA.
