In loving memory of Mark French: 1978-2023

Posted

Mark Norman French, 45, of Rochester, took his last breath on Oct. 31, 2023.

Mark was born to Loretta “Lori” Arana on July 1, 1978, in Centralia, Washington.

Mark was born with several health issues and was never supposed to survive childhood, yet he survived 45 years of life. Mark was known for his laughter and his quick wit. He was always pulling pranks on his mom, his siblings and his nieces and nephews. If he saw someone sad, he would always do something to make them laugh, and we are going to do exactly that.

Mark was preceded in death by his mom, Lori.

Mark is survived by his dad, Apolonio Nunez, of Centralia; brothers, Derek White (Cierra), of Rochester, and John French, of Centralia; sisters, Lisa French (Larry Clark), of Kelso, and Rebecca Pliler, of Centralia. Mark loved being uncle Mark and is survived by his nieces and nephews, including Shade French, Katrina Shepard-White, Jordan (Conner) Skager, Lynn (Austin) Sinclair, Will Waldon, Chris (Annie) White, Aaron White, Marissa Pliler, Asa Pliler and Sasha French-Ramirez, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

He is also survived by his caregivers, Heidi Craig and Ashley King. Thank you both for the love and care you've given Mark. He loved you both.

A private family celebration of life will be held at Derek's home in Rochester at a later time. Mark would not want us to be sad, but make each other laugh as he would do for all of us.
