Michael “Mike” Allan Price, age 68, passed away peacefully at his home early Saturday morning, June 29, 2024.

Mike was born in Jefferson City, Missouri, on Oct. 22, 1955, to Billy and Donna Price. He spent his childhood in Lake Park, Iowa, and Taylorville, Illinois, when he was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at age 15. Mike married in 1973 to Sharon Maher and started his family in Scottsbluff, Nebraska, in 1976. In 1986, Mike moved his family to Washington, finally settling in Lewis County where he became valued as a respected blacksmith and horseman who loved his trade. Mike touched the lives of many, including his animals, and will be greatly missed.

Mike is preceded in death by his parents, Billy and Donna Price, and brothers, Steven and Timothy Price. Mike's memory is survived by his wife, Theresa Pope; sister, Cheryl Rieselman; children, Shannon (Mark) Lininger, Nathan Price and Joshua (Amanda) Price; grandchildren, Laci Hyde, Jody Hyde, Devin Lininger, and Kaia and Cameron Price; and great-grandchild, Kira Berry.
