In loving memory of Stanley ‘Stan’ Lee Stafford

Stanley “Stan” Lee Stafford was born May 6, 1940, in Centralia, Washington, to Elvin Bartholomew Stafford and Marjorie Sarah (Donahoo) Stafford. 

As a child, Stan grew up on a farm until 1956 and was a member of the United Methodist Church. He excelled in basketball at Centralia High School, track at Centralia Junior College and was a two-varsity letterman at Oregon State University in basketball and track. Stan graduated from OSU in 1964.

He was married to his college sweetheart in 1963 and they had three wonderful and successful children. Stan was remarried to Marita Isip in 2023.

His employment included nearly 25 years with the state of Oregon. His last position was as a disability services case manager. He enjoyed sharing his positive life with his many friends and acquaintances. Stan oversaw the care of his disabled brother, Gordon, for over 50 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, camping and many other activities.

Stan requested no funeral services. Arrangements are under the care of Springer and Son.
