Thad Ernest Hehn, 78, of Kalama, Washington, passed on to his Heavenly rewards on Oct. 23, 2023, at his home. His beloved wife Violet A. Hehn, family members and close friends were by his side.
Thad was preceded in death by his father, mother, sister, Marcia, and brother, Tim. His legacy includes his wife, Violet Hehn; Yvonne Glaub, daughter; Llene Hehn- Quiocho, daughter; Travis Hehn, son; Lori Faris (Brian), daughter; Lynnette Barnwell, (Greg) daughter; Brenda Duby, daughter; David O’Dell, son; and 11 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Thad lived most of his life in Lewis County. He never met a stranger and was an avid and accomplished fisherman. He enjoyed scuba diving, hunting, horses and hot rods. After retirement, he also enjoyed taking care of and watching his wildlife menagerie at home. He was a loving father and friend. He is and will be forever missed by the many people he touched.
Thad never wanted anyone to be sad on his behalf so instead of a funeral, a “celebration of life” will be held in November.
