In loving memory of Thomas Fisher: 1973-2024

Posted

Thomas (Tom) Harrison Fisher was born Dec. 20, 1973, to Harrison (Horty) and Nancy Fisher in Chehalis, Washington. Tom unexpectedly left this life and received his angel wings on March 2, 2024, at the age of 50. He was surrounded by a loving family as he began his journey to his new eternal life in Heaven.

Tom grew up in the Doty - Pe Ell area where he acquired many lifelong friends. He was a very hard worker, whether it be his job, at home or helping out family and friends. He was always one you could count on to lend a helping hand. He was employed by Centralia Providence Swedish Hospital, where he enjoyed working with his co-workers, many of whom were friends outside of work. He was an excellent cook and loved entertaining family and friends with his backyard barbecue get-togethers.

Most of all, Tom loved being a Father and was an amazing Dad to his boys. It meant everything to him to spend time with family and friends.

He truly had a heart of gold. Tom was a gentle, precious soul that touched so many people's hearts. He had a great smile, and his personality was inspiring. We are all very blessed to have had him in our lives. He's already deeply missed, and he will live on in our hearts forever.

In addition to his parents, Horty and Nancy, Tom is survived by wife, Laura; sons Waylon, Levi and Luke Fisher; sisters Lisa (Jim) Elliott and Chris Harmon; numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends. Tom also adored his two sidekicks, dog Bella and cat Pepper, who were very special to him.

Tom was preceded in death by his grandparents Edward and Erma Slaughter and Harrison Senior and Eleanor Fisher; Uncle Butch; aunts Bonnie and Billie; and cousins Jody Lusk, Andy Anderson and Brian Kromer.

There will be a potluck celebration of life for Tom on Saturday, May 18, at 3 p.m. at the VFW Hall in Pe Ell, Washington.
