Lackluster ground game dooms Timberwolves in loss to Fishermen

The downhill running was not successful for the Morton White-Pass High School football team on Friday night in a C2BL cross-divisional matchup on the coast, falling to Ilwaco 42-0 on the road.

Just four first downs and 33 rushing of 52 total offensive yards has put the Timberwolves (2-2) trending downwards with the unbeaten Loggers and Winlock due up on the schedule. The Fishermen nabbed two first half scores from Cody Miller and remained in firm control.

After allowing 33 points combined in the first two wins for MWP, It has given up north of 100 points in back-to-back weeks.
