The Salkum Timberland Library will celebrate its grand reopening on Nov. 9 with a celebration at the library from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
“After closing most of the library for a much-needed refresh, we are excited to unveil our renovations!” the Salkum Timberland Library said in a news release. “We are especially thrilled to introduce a new children’s play area, designed to spark imagination and joy for our youngest visitors, as well as a cozy and inviting new teens area.”
The event will include tours, refreshments and themed crafts for kids.
The Salkum Timberland Library is located at 2480 U.S. Highway 12 in Salkum.
The library has operated out of a modified library space in its community room since Aug. 13 during the renovations.
The library was closed for a week from Oct. 24 to Oct. 31 while staff moved materials back into the main library and normal library hours and services resumed on Friday, Nov. 1.
