Sirens: More bikes stolen in Centralia; Winlock man pleads guilty to possession of depictions of a minor engaged in sexually explicit conduct; arrests for assault

CENTRALIA POLICE DEPARTMENT

Theft

• Just after 7 a.m. on Oct. 12, two bikes were reported stolen from the 1000 block of South Tower Avenue sometime overnight

• Just before 12:55 p.m. on Oct. 12, a bike was reported stolen from the 500 block of South Oak Street sometime overnight.

• An iPad was reported stolen from the 1100 block of Harrison Avenue just after 4:20 p.m. on Oct. 12.

• Clothing was reported stolen from an outlet in the 1300 block of Lum Road at approximately 7:05 p.m. on Oct. 12.

• Property was reported stolen out of a vehicle in the 800 block of Johnson Road just before 7:45 p.m. on Oct. 12.

 

Disorderly conduct

• A 46-year-old Winlock man was arrested for disorderly conduct after he reportedly ran in and out of traffic in the 600 block of Harrison Avenue just before 11:40 a.m. on Oct. 13. He reportedly had suspected meth on his person when he was arrested.

Criminal trespass

• A 28-year-old Chehalis man was arrested for trespassing in the 400 block of East Summa Street just before 7:50 p.m. on Oct. 13.

 

Assault

• A 33-year-old Centralia woman was arrested for second-degree assault, domestic violence, in the 500 block of South Ash Street just after 8:25 p.m. on Oct. 13.

• A 39-year-old Centralia man was arrested for third-degree assault, domestic violence, in the 900 block of K Street at 1:25 a.m. on Oct. 14.

Guilty plea

• Richard Davis, 52, of Winlock, pleaded guilty Friday, Oct. 11, to two counts of second-degree possession of depictions of a minor engaged in sexually explicit conduct. Sentencing is scheduled for 9:15 a.m. on Nov. 8.

 

FIRE AND EMS CALLS

• Between Friday morning and Monday morning, Lewis County 911 Communications logged approximately 61 illness-related calls, 22 injury-related calls, nine fire-related calls, one Lifeline medical alert, nine non-emergency service calls, five vehicle accidents, two overdoses, one rescue, one ambulance request and seven other calls.

 

JAIL STATISTICS

• As of Monday morning, the Lewis County Jail had a total system population of 156 inmates, including 143 in the general population and 13 in the Work Ethic and Restitution Center (WERC). Of general population inmates, 103 were reported male and 29 were reported female. Of the WERC inmates, 11 were reported male and two were reported female.

• As of Monday morning, the Chehalis Tribal Jail had a total system population of 12 inmates, including six booked by the Centralia Police Department, three booked by the state Department of Corrections and three booked by the Lummi Nation.
