CENTRALIA POLICE DEPARTMENT
Arrests
• Anthony Wells, 48, of Centralia, was arrested and booked into the Chehalis Tribal Jail at around 9:33 p.m. July 28 for second-degree criminal trespass after trespassing on property he was not authorized to be on in the 500 block of Hillkress Street.
• Joseph A. Bonomi, 22, of Tenino, was arrested in the 100 block of South Tower Avenue and later released for disorderly conduct and third-degree malicious mischief at about 1:27 a.m. July 29.
• Jeremy M. Killian-Howard, 38, of Tacoma, was arrested at around 1:16 p.m. July 29 and later released after allegedly stealing approximately $552.73 in items and possessing drug paraphernalia in the 100 block of West High Street, according to a news release from the Centralia Police Department.
• Jerimy J. Trudeau, 42, of Centralia, was arrested at about 8:15 p.m. July 29 in the 1400 block of Johnson Road for allegedly violating a protection order by being within 1,000 feet of the victim. He was booked into Chehalis Tribal Jail.
Theft
• The theft of a tire from a vehicle occurred in the 1300 block of Harrison Avenue. The vehicle tire was stolen sometime during the nighttime hours and reported missing at 9:31 a.m. July 28.
Assault
• An assault was reported around 5:34 p.m. July 28 in the 2000 block of Cooks Hill Road. The case is under investigation, according to the Centralia Police Department.
Indecent liberties
• A 17-year-old juvenile was arrested and booked into the Lewis County Juvenile Detention Center for the crime of indecent liberties at around 9:35 p.m. July 29 in the 1300 block of West Reynolds Road.
Domestic violence
• A 13-year-old juvenile was arrested and booked into the Lewis County Juvenile Detention Center for fourth-degree assault, domestic violence, after assaulting a family member at about 12:15 a.m. July 30 in the 1000 block of North Washington Avenue.
Indecent exposure
• A suspect has been identified and is being sought by Centralia police officers after they lured two citizens to their vehicle and exposed their genitalia while seated in their vehicle. The identified suspect has a history of this type of crime, making it a felony, according to police.
CHEHALIS POLICE DEPARTMENT
Arrests
• Tedy M. St. John, 36, of Mossyrock, was given a criminal citation for third-degree theft and was advised of his court date at about 2:09 p.m. July 24 in the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue.
• Harvey B. McKinley, 55, of Chehalis, was arrested for first-degree trespass after banging on the door of a residence in the 100 block of Northeast Coal Creek Road at about 10:57 p.m. July 24.
• David J. Muyskens, 49, of Chehalis, was issued criminal citations for third-degree theft and possession of methamphetamine after a resident reported the theft of their phone at about 8:39 a.m. July 25 in the 10 block of Southwest Chehalis Avenue.
• Shannon M. Tompkins, 43, of Tumwater, was arrested at about 4:45 p.m. July 25 for third-degree theft after her license plate did not match her vehicle, according to police reports from the Chehalis Police Department.
• Jacob D. Tippery, 36, of Olympia, was arrested and issued a criminal citation for driving under influence at the corner of Northwest Pacific Avenue and Northwest Boistfort Street at about 9:35 p.m. July 25.
• Benito Esquivel Martinez, 44, of Chehalis, was arrested for one count of fourth-degree assault, domestic violence, after reportedly choking a female at 6:05 a.m. July 26 in his residence in the 300 block of Southwest James Street.
• Mark A. Silva, 45, of Chehalis, was arrested at about 9:40 p.m. July 26 on one count of first-degree criminal trespass after refusing to leave the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue while looking into cars and asking people to punch him.
• Patrick Michael O'Dell, 42, of Chehalis, was arrested for one count of fourth-degree assault and one count of second-degree malicious mischief after allegedly assaulting someone at about 12:37 p.m. July 27 in the 500 block of North Market Boulevard.
• Cristal L. Hatfield, 46, of Chehalis, was cited for charges of animal at-large and allowing an unprovoked attack of an animal after her dog attacked someone else’s dog in the 200 block of Northeast Washington Avenue and had to be pepper sprayed at about 8:45 p.m. July 28.
• Brian K. Roe, 51, of Winlock, was booked into the Lewis County Jail for possession of a stolen motor vehicle and possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver at about 8:56 a.m. July 29 in the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue.
Vehicle collisions
• A vehicle accident occurred in the 600 block of Northwest Chamber of Commerce Way at about 4:18 p.m. July 24.
• A resident called to report a hit-and-run to their vehicle at 2:15 p.m. July 25, two days after the hit-and-run occurred in the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue.
• A collision occurred at the intersection of Southwest 13th Street and Southwest Wilson Avenue at about 2:23 p.m. July 25. There were no injuries, and the cars were not blocking the road.
• A two-vehicle collision in the 400 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue resulted in one vehicle going over the embankment at about 2:25 p.m. July 25. No injuries were reported.
• A collision occurred in the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue at about 3:04 p.m. July 25. No injuries were reported, but the vehicles were blocking traffic.
• An accident occurred at the intersection between Southwest 13th Street and Southwest Mills Avenue at about 3:34 p.m. July 25.
• A collision was reported at the intersection between Southwest Seventh Street and South Market Boulevard at 4:01 p.m. July 25.
• A vehicle accident that partially blocked traffic occurred at the corner between South Market Boulevard and Southeast 11th Street at about 2:53 p.m. July 27.
• A hit-and-run was reported at the intersection of Northwest Louisiana Avenue and Northwest Chamber of Commerce Way at about 3:21 p.m. July 29. No injuries occurred, but at least one of the vehicles was damaged.
• A vehicle collision that blocked traffic occurred in the 600 block of Northwest Chamber of Commerce way at about 5:36 p.m. July 29. No injuries were reported.
Possible scam
• A resident reported a scam call at about 12:34 p.m. July 26 in the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue. The caller stated that Captain Miller from “jail” told the resident to go to Walmart and pay $2,200 for three vouchers to “bail someone out of jail.” There is no sergeant by that name working at the jail.
Theft
• A resident reported their wheelchair missing at about 3:18 p.m. July 26 after leaving it by the door to the grocery store in the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue.
• A phone was stolen in the 400 block of Southwest Parkland Drive at around 3:34 p.m. July 26.
• A resident reported their e-bike was stolen from their residence in the 500 block of Southwest Chehalis Avenue at about 9:26 a.m. July 27.
• Copper wire was reported missing from inside a fenced area in the 100 block of Exhibitor Road at about 8:38 a.m. July 29.
Laser attack
• A green laser was being pointed at aircraft north of the Chehalis Airport at about 1:51 a.m. July 30. Two aircrafts were reportedly hit with a laser above the airport, with seven minutes lasting between the incidents.
JAIL STATISTICS
• As of Wednesday morning, the Lewis County Jail had a total system population of 179 inmates, including 165 in the general population and 14 in the Work Ethic and Restitution Center (WERC). Of general population inmates, 141 were reported male and 24 were reported female. Of the WERC inmates, 12 were reported male and two were reported female.
