The Centralia football team never found its groove on Saturday at Tiger Stadium, as the Tigers were shutout in a 40-0 loss to Aberdeen.

Centralia managed just 100 total yards of offense, while Aberdeen tallied 431 and led 20-0 after the first quarter.

The first touchdown of the game came within the first 30 seconds, when an Aberdeen rusher broke free for a 61-yard score. The Bobcats added two more touchdowns in the first quarter before hitting paydirt one more time in each of the final three.

Donovan Galloway led the Tigers offense with 49 rushing yards and 26 receiving yards, while Terrell Sanders ran for 26 and threw for 44 on five completions. Kellen Rooklidge ran for 20 yards, and Talan Sayers caught two passes for 14 yards.

The Tigers (0-6, 0-2 2A EvCo) will be at home again on Friday for the Swamp Cup against W.F. West.
