Behind an all-around performance from Jessie McCoy, Napavine High School’s volleyball team picked up a non-league sweep over Raymond/South Bend by set scores of 25-17, 25-18, 25-21 on Thursday night.

McCoy had 13 digs in the back row, nine assists, six kills and four aces. The senior played a key role on a stellar serving night for the Tigers (3-1) as Emily Kang, MaKayla Brett and Kendall Kelly each were 100 percent from the line.

“I felt like the girls played well,” Napavine head coach Monica Dailey said. “Third set, they kind of let down a little bit, but they were able to pull it back.”

The Tigers will face an upstart Onalaska bunch on Monday in a non-league contest.
