Morton-White Pass and Winlock’s meeting Thursday came down to the final minutes, but it was the Timberwolves who came away with a 58-57 victory to snap their five-game losing streak.

Judah Kelly led the way with 34 points, including 16 in the fourth, while Logan Mays scored nine and Michael Biacan scored seven.

Sebastian Gonzalez scored four, while Owen Loucks and Race McKenzie combined for four more.

It’s MWP’s first win since Dec. 18, when it defeated Toutle Lake in Morton, and the T-Wolves have now swept their season series against Winlock.

Landen Cline led the Cardinals with 21 points, eight rebounds, six steals, and five assists, while Freddy Patching added 14 points, seven boards, and a pair of steals.

Jaxyn Pelagio added nine, Arean Thapa scored eight, and Mason Ruiz scored five while also hauling in eight rebounds.

MWP (4-7, 3-6 C2BL) will hit the road for a non-league matchup at Ocosta on Saturday, while Winlock (4-8, 3-6 C2BL) will look to snap a four-game losing streak at Adna on Tuesday.
