For the first time this spring, the Toledo/Winlock United boys soccer team played at Winlock High School, but they couldn’t find a win in falling to Stevenson 4-2 on Monday night.
Junior Villaba cut into a 2-0 deficit for United, getting on the receiving end of a Christoph Danger pass in the 30th minute. The Bulldogs added another goal in the opening half and scored four minutes into the second half to put the game out of reach.
Danger, one of the highest scoring strikers in the area, found the back of the net in the 78th minute off a corner kick. United (5-6, 4-6 Trico) will host King’s Way Christian on Wednesday night back at Winlock.
