The Rochester boys golf team couldn’t top Elma at Riverside on Monday, as the Warriors lost 188-231.
Elma had three golfers shoot a 48 or below, including Robby Allen’s 42, and a fourth shot a 51.
Boden Grimm led Rochester (1-1) with a 56, while Gavin Revel followed with a 57 and Kellen Douthit was one back with a 58.
Cash Edminster shot a 60, and Simon Barth and Wesley Dahl rounded out the Warriors with a 68 and 69, respectively.
The Warriors will be back in action next Monday, Sept. 16, at Oaksridge Golf Course against Montesano.
