Robert C. Clark, 94, of Toledo, Wash., passed away Feb. 22, 2019, in Centralia, Wash. He was born Aug. 13, 1924, in Oakland, Calif., to Blanche (Gaberel) and John W. Clark Sr.
Robert graduated with his brother, John from Toledo High School in 1942. He then went to work in the logging industry, where he worked for many years. Robert had many interests, including steam engines, railroad and logging history and keeping up to date on new logging equipment. He was an avid reader and enjoyed learning new things all his life. Robert was also a ham radio operator and enjoyed talking with others, some became lifelong friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, John Clark; and sister, Reva McKie
Robert is survived by a sister-in-law, Joan Clark of Chehalis; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m., at the Toledo Senior Center, Sunday, April 7, 2019.
